Who We Are
The Black Republican Caucus of Florida [BRCF] is a dynamic coalition of African American conservatives, elected officials, community leaders, business owners, and engaged citizens united by our shared commitment to Republican principles and values. We represent a diverse tapestry of professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, veterans, and families who believe in the power of conservative solutions to strengthen our communities and expand opportunities for all Floridians. Organized in 2012 by then Chairman Michael A. Barnett, BRCF has become the largest black republican grassroots organization in the United States.
Our members come from every corner of the Sunshine State, bringing together voices from urban centers to rural communities, each contributing unique perspectives shaped by their experiences and expertise – all bound together by our belief in limited government, individual responsibility, free enterprise, and traditional Godly values.
As proud Republicans and proud African Americans, we reject the notion that political affiliation should be determined by race. Instead, we champion the principles that have made America great: the belief that hard work and determination can overcome any obstacle, that families are the foundation of strong communities, and that every individual deserves the opportunity to pursue their dreams without government interference.
We stand as living testimony that conservative values transcend racial boundaries and that the Republican Party's message of empowerment, opportunity, and personal responsibility resonates deeply within the African American community. Through our advocacy, outreach, and engagement, we work to ensure that the voices of Black Floridians are heard and represented within Florida's Executive Branch, Legislative body and the Republican Party.
Our caucus serves as both a bridge and a beacon – connecting Republican leadership with African American communities while illuminating the path toward greater inclusion, understanding, and shared prosperity for all Floridians.

Our Platform
Black communities across Florida and the United States deserve determined leadership that doesn’t subscribe to the dependency of modern-day slavery and bondage through lifelong entitlement programs and welfare. For decades the Democrats have “over-promised” and delivered absolutely NOTHING but government reliance, policies that promote high crime and lawlessness, woke ideologies that jeopardize the mental health and wellness of our children, and have vigorously fought to denigrate the Christian values and beliefs that have guided this country since it’s inception.
Under Chairman Jackson’s unwavering “AND” leadership, we will continue fighting the liberal and disastrous threats of Democrats head – on by promoting Godly values, united families, restoration of order, self-independence, economic ingenuity and financial literacy. These are some of the principles that help to guarantee black families are treated equally and have the same opportunity to live safe and prosperous lives for generations to come.
